• Key to the Sea is an original textured mixed media painting by Liliia Kaluzhyna (Alika), inspired by the mysteries of the sea, hidden opportunities and the search for answers beyond the visible surface.
• At the centre of the composition, a stylised fish appears among expressive blue, white and black forms. Its rounded silhouette emerges gradually from the surrounding textures, as though moving between water, waves and an imagined underwater world.
• A sculpted red key placed across the fish becomes the central symbolic and colour accent. It may represent access to hidden knowledge, the discovery of a new path or the possibility of opening a door that previously seemed inaccessible.
• The fish traditionally symbolises intuition, movement, transformation and the ability to navigate uncertain depths. Combined with the key, it creates a playful yet meaningful image about finding possibilities in unexpected places.
