In May 2024, renowned contemporary artist Liliia Kaluzhyna will present her paintings “Venetian Evening” and “The Pier“ at a prestigious collective exhibition held at Palazzo Bastogi in Florence. This historic palace, built in the mid-1700s by the architect Ruggeri for the Capponi family, is one of the most iconic locations in the city.
The exhibition will take place in the Sala della Giunta, a grand room featuring frescoes from the 16th century and an impressive 19th-century chandelier. The event will be introduced by Dr. Ugo Barlozzetti, a renowned art historian and critic, and will showcase Kaluzhyna’s mastery of color and light in her Venetian-inspired works. Palazzo Bastogi, now home to the Regional Council of Tuscany, offers a majestic setting for this celebration of contemporary art.
