In October 2019, Liliia Kaluzhyna participated in the “Artists on the Capitol” event in Rome, organized by Anna Maria Brazzo and art critic Pasquale di Matteo.
The event, titled “Colori di Pace,” fostered intercultural exchange between Italy and Sri Lanka. Kaluzhyna exhibited two of her works, “Autumn Mood” and “Autumn Lady,” which captured the essence of her artistic vision. The exhibition highlighted themes of peace, art, and cultural unity, strengthening artistic connections across nations.
Review of art critic Pasquale di Mateo.
The masters of the Capitol …
In the colors of Liliia Kaluzhyna you can breathe the sophistication of Van Gogh and the poetry of a world made of visions and landscapes that the artist emphasizes, letting catapult into the observer.
The Kaluzhyna rules the light, making it a slave to its desires and passions that stir its soul, animating scenes and places where the shape is not defined and where time seems to have stopped.
An explosion of iridescent colors in which the shades of blue triumph, which manifest the meditative and spiritual soul of the painter.
The artist’s refined colors, in their depicting the essentiality of what has been observed with the eyes of the soul, enhance nature and open spaces, in a manifest desire to bring man back to a more careful relationship with the environment in where he lives.
In some works, Kaluzhyna addresses conceptual issues that focus attention also on the contraindications of our time, establishing itself as a refined analyst as well as an excellent observer of living.
A great artist who will be present in the Campidoglio on October 29th, after being selected by the Critic of Art, Pasquale Di Matteo, to be one of the protagonists of the COLORI DI PACE event, curated by Anna Maria Brazzò.
