Presentation of the Art Critic, Pasquale Di Matteo.
“Liliia Kaluzhyna is an artist who comes from the refined School of the East, in which colors, figurations, lines and scenes reach remarkable aesthetic levels.
However, this stylistic competence is, for Kaluzhyna, a means to communicate its propensity to the analysis of the present, in which the artist of Ukrainian origins hopes for greater attention to the environment, in a union between man and nature, since it impoverishes the planet by virtue of progress, as is sadly the case in our time, is a running train that is dragging humanity towards the end.
Liliia Kaluzhyna also often adopts the blue color, showing a propensity for meditation which she also hopes to deal with the great themes of the world.
The Kaluzhyna opens up to nature, to the boundless spaces of the cosmos, to invite us to find new solutions to respond to the great themes that beset the present.
Liliia Kaluzhyna is one of only 10 artists to have exhibited in Campidoglio, in 2019. ”
